Fahrenheit Synergy Programme. Joint grant project of Fahrenheit Union of Universities in Gdańsk and investGDA Foundation
Under Fahrenheit Synergy Programme research groups from the MUG, Gdańsk Tech and UG may obtain project funding up to PLN 750,000.
Who is eligible to apply?
Grant applications may be submitted by teams consisting of three research groups, with each group affiliated with a different university (the MUG, Gdańsk Tech and UG). Each research group shall be headed by a leader who is an employee of the respective University, for whom that University is the primary place of employment.
What are the application evaluation criteria?
- Scientific achievements of the research group leaders (including, inter alia, scientific publications, patents, and completed research projects) – up to a maximum of 10 points,
- The research plan (research outcome, impact of the research on the socio-economic environment, degree of interdisciplinarity, impact of the research on the individual development of team members, and the synergy resulting from cooperation between the research groups) – up to a maximum of 20 points.
Additional points may be scored for applications that demonstrate the project’s compliance with the National Smart Specialisation (KIS), which defines priority areas in research, development, and innovation (R+D+I). The FarU Synergy Grant Programme is financed from the funds of the Fahrenheit Union of Universities in Gdańsk, including the funds derived from a donation provided for this purpose by the InvestGDA Foundation in Gdańsk, as well as financial contributions allocated by the Medical University of Gdańsk, Gdańsk University of Technology, and the University of Gdańsk. It is supported by the Mayor of Gdańsk.
