Soon, on 25 May, the Gradowa Hill will transform into a vibrant science playground as the Fahrenheit Science Picnic will be held there. Dozens of interactive stands will be waiting for you, packed with experiments, workshops, games, and competitions. Whether you're young or just young at heart, there's something for everyone!

The Science Stage will be buzzing from 11 AM to 4 PM, featuring exciting shows, performances and competitions. Highlights include: a zero waste fashion show, spectacular science show exploring the history of the oceans, a thrilling medical rescue demonstration and a special performance by the Gdańsk Academic Orchestra.

And that’s not all – the Fahrenheit Science Picnic will also feature the Science Village with more than 70 tents filled with amazing attractions from all areas of science and discovery, including:

  • hands-on experiments in chemistry, biology, and physics,
  • zones dedicated to health, nutrition, and first aid,
  • technology, robotics, and engineering demos,
  • creative art workshops, quizzes, and educational activities for children.

And for our youngest guests, there’s a special Kids’ Zone, packed with creative play and art-related activities.

The Fahrenheit Science Picnic is an initiative of the Fahrenheit Universities and has been co-organized with Hevelianum for the fourth year in a row. Together, we’re creating an event that brings the fascinating world of science closer to both curious kids and grown-up explorers. We multiply curiosity and share our passion, by showing that science can be fun, surprising, and anything but ordinary.

The Fahrenheit Science Picnic is a free and open event – just show up and get swept away in a science adventure.
