Academia vs. Micro-skills. Join our debate!

The Fahrenheit Universities and the Pomorskie Voivodeship Self-Government invite you to join the EUSBSR Annual Forum 2025, featuring an English-language oxford-style debate titled: “Future and Learning: Academia vs. Micro-Skills in a Shifting World.”

As the Baltic Sea Region faces rapid technological transformation, geopolitical uncertainty, and the growing importance of sustainable development, this debate will explore whether traditional academic degrees remain the best investment in human potential—or if micro-credentials and focused learning outside academia are becoming the new gold standard.

Two teams—composed of students, academics, and representatives of the labour market—will argue for contrasting visions of how best to prepare for the future.

📅 Date: 30 October 2025
🕥 Time: 10:15–11:15
📍 Location: Sopot, Radisson Blu hotel
