Until October 15th there is time to send the application to get a Fahrenheit Scholarship! The Mayor of Gdańsk in cooperation with the Fahrenheit Universities have funded three prestigious Fahrenheit Scholarships for the best International PhD students.

The participants in a one-year internship will receive a scholarship paid monthly, free accommodation and the reimbursement of travel costs.

We encourage young scientists who are preparing a doctoral dissertation at your university, are the authors or joint authors of a scientific publication and wish to pursue their scientific interests at one of Polish leading universities - to take advantage of the offer.

ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIPS PROGRAMME:

• undertaking a year’s internship at one of the Fahrenheit Universities
• conducting interdisciplinary research as part of your PhD dissertation
• covering travel costs up to PLN 6,500
• scholarship at PLN 6,500 (net) per month
• providing accommodation
• gaining international experience
• making new contacts.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

If you:

• are an author or co-author of a scientific publication,
• are preparing a PhD dissertation at a foreign university,
• have received an invitation/consent statement from a tutor/academic teacher employed at one of the FarU universities

The deadline for submission of applications is 15 October this year.

Rules of the scholarship programme for PhD students are set in the Gdańsk Council Resolution no. LII/1300/22 dated 30 June 2022 regarding the Mayor of Gdańsk Fahrenheit Scholarship programme for students and PhD students.
