The next edition of Fahrenheit Scholarships is open - apply to get one-year paid internship in Poland!

Main goal of this competition is to enable PhD students to complete a one-year internship on Gdańsk (Poland), provide financial support in the form of a scholarship, free accommodation and development of scientific research within the framework of the doctoral thesis with the help of an assigned scientific supervisor. It is a great opportunity to expand scientific knowledge, make new contacts and gain international experience.

This project is realized by City of Gdańsk and Fahrenheit Universities. Internships take place in 3 biggest universities in Gdańsk: Gdańsk University of Technology, The Medical University of Gdańsk and University of Gdańsk.

We offer (among others):

· Free accommodation,

· Scholarship at PLN 6,500 (net) per month,

· Reimbursement of travel costs up to PLN 6,500.

Important dates:

· Application deadline: June 15, 2026

· Results announcement: September 20, 2026

· Internship period: from January 1st, 2027 to December 31st, 2027.

At the application stage you need to indicate the host university in which you are planning to continue your research as part of the doctoral dissertation and support the university during that time.
