The colourful parade and inspiring speeches – let's start the new academic year together!
On 30 September, on the initiative of the Fahrenheit Universities, Pomeranian universities and local authorities will officially open the 2023/2024 academic year.
In Gdańsk, the colourful parade of the academic community will take place for the second time – a dozen or so Pomeranian universities will meet on the last Saturday of September by the Golden Gate. The parade along the Royal Route will end in front of the Artus Court, where we will hear speeches by the local authorities, representatives of university authorities and students. Variety will be added to the parade by acrobats, the Gdańsk Academic Orchestra and unique carillons playing Gaudeamus igitur.
All members of the Fahrenheit Universities’ academic community with their families and friends welcome! Let's show that science is one of the key drivers for the development of our city and the entire region.
We also invite the residents, tourists and all those who wish to take part in the event to join us.
Long live science!
