List of conferences to receive funding
The 6th Gdańsk Health Days Conference, aimed at presenting current directions in the development of healthcare and fostering the integration of the academic community around the most pressing contemporary health challenges. Participants will have the opportunity to explore diverse perspectives – clinical, nutritional, psychological, organizational, and technological – which supports a broader understanding of the complexity of modern health issues and highlights the need for integrated, multidisciplinary collaboration among specialists.
GIS Day Gdańsk 2026, serving as a forum for content-related discussion and the presentation of interdisciplinary research as well as best practices in the application of GIS across science, engineering, environmental protection, and medical sciences. The conference programme presupposes participation by representatives of the scientific circles, business, and public administration, fostering the confrontation of research outcomes with business needs and supporting the development of cooperation between the academic community and the broader socio-economic environment.
The 8th Polish National Scientific Conference “Chemistry–Business–Environment” (ChemBiŚ) 2026, highlighting the role of chemistry, the chemical industry, and environmental issues in the development of contemporary science and the economy. The event is targeted at undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D. students from across Poland. The high academic standard of the conference is ensured by the Scientific Committee composed of experts representing the three largest Pomeranian universities.
The Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference of Young Researchers (IKNMB) 2026, aimed at disseminating the latest research results conducted by young researchers, undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D. students, as well as promoting science and facilitating knowledge transfer between communities. The planned thematic focus of the conference includes issues related to spatial planning and land use, transport systems and mobility, as well as the development of urban and rural areas, with particular emphasis on social aspects.
The 2nd Interdisciplinary Forum of Research Clubs in Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering, organised on the initiative of POMERANIA FIZ-MED – a network of Pomeranian medical physicists and academic staff from the MUG, Gdańsk Tech and UG – the members of the Polish Society of Medical Physics (PTFM). Both fields of education – Medical Physics (UG) and Biomedical Engineering (with a specialisation in Medical Physics at the Gdańsk Tech) – have a tradition spanning more than a decade. They also maintain close cooperation with one another and with the Medical University of Gdańsk, in particular with the academic staff of the Division of Radiotherapy and the Division of Nuclear Medicine at the MUG/University Clinical Centre.
FarU Virology Days, jointly developed by three virology research teams from three universities: the Department of Infectious Diseases at the MUG, the Department of Electronics at the Gdańsk Tech and the Division of Molecular Biology of Viruses at the UG. The teams have expanded their cooperation in this field with the Polish Society of Virology. As the leading European virologists were invited to deliver plenary lectures and English was the official conference language, registration will also be open to international participants.
Each of the organising teams includes representatives of all three universities: the Medical University of Gdańsk, Gdańsk University of Technology, and the University of Gdańsk.
Congratulations to the winners, and thank you to all participants.
