As part of the cooperation of the V and IX research teams in the Priority Research Area 3, selected in the “Excellence Initiative – Research University” Program at the MUG, a series of meetings with scientists specializing in in vivo and in vitro research will be organized in the coming months.

The first webinar in the series will take place on 17/12/2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. using the Clickmeeting platform. The main topic of the first meeting will be "Selection of an appropriate animal model in preclinical in vivo studies".

Research data management and sharing is rapidly gaining importance. Both dedicated tools and services supporting these processes have an impact on the development of global science. The fifth edition of the Pomeranian Open Science Conference under the slogan "Collaborative Services" is intended to summarize existing activities in this field, discuss the directions of development of such services, and, as a result, establish a national working group, under the auspices of GO-FAIR organization and the Data MOST project, bringing together specialists in Data Management and Data Stewardship from various Polish scientific institutions.

The aim of the planned undertaking is to gather conclusions and recommendations for activities aimed at supporting people with disabilities for the VII Congress of People with Disabilities. An additional goal is to integrate the community of people with disabilities and to set a course of action to improve the quality of life of all residents of the Pomeranian Province. The theme of this year's edition is "The way to an independent life".

The workshop of Team 10, (Molecular and biochemical methods for study mechanisms of civilization diseases) separated within the Priority Research Area No. 3 (Biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology) at the Medical University of Gdańsk is an excellent opportunity for researchers, who are part of a thematic team working on related issues, to present themselves.
