The Fahrenheit Universities (FarU) presented the achievements and capacity of selected research clubs from the associated universities (The MUG, Gdańsk Tech and UG) during Infoshare, the largest tech conference in Central and Eastern Europe. The event took place on 14-15 October this year in the AmberExpo in Gdańsk.
Infoshare means 2 days filled with speeches by experts from Polish and foreign companies such as: Twitter, Google, LPP, Spartez, T-mobile or Amazon. This year, the participants were invited to 5 theme stages, on which talks will be given by specialists in their fields from all over the world.
During the conference, the FarU was represented by research clubs of the 3 biggest universities in Pomerania. The projects to be presented by them include a 3D-printed prosthetic hand, fully automatic sailing boat, old arcade machine game emulator, investigations into the use of EEG apparatus and biofeedback in the prevention and reduction of the adverse consequences of workoholism and the analysis of circulating tumour cells (CTC).
The event's objective is to present and share experience among specialists in business, new technologies and start-ups.
